FOLDING TINE BALE SPIKE 

AWARDED 2ND RUNNER UP FOR THE INNOVATION AWARD AT THE GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW 2023! 

Our current bale spike with an updated feature! A new feature has been added where the tines can be folded inwards manually using a pin design for simplicity and easiness, to lock them in place. A great thought through safety feature ( not complicated!) Safety is something everyone needs to consider in all aspects of life, especially when around farming equipment which can be incredibly dangerous. This new feature allows you to take away that danger when traveling on roads - eliminating the danger towards road users ie. Cars / cyslists, and when feeding up, as the tine / s not in use can be folded inwards not endangering animals, people, or anything else. These, like all the other products will be fitted with brackets to suit your machine and are made to order. POA.

Be road safe: If you have an unprotected bale spike in a position where it could cause danger, you could be prosecuted under regulation 100 of the: Construction and use regulations or section 40 of the road traffic act. When traveling on the public highway, the forks ( or other front mounted handing attachment) should be: Removed and carried elsewhere ( eg. on a trailer) or folded back and secured or covered / protected by an appropriate guard.
